What is Skin Needling?
Skin needling, also known as “Collagen Induction Therapy” is a non-surgical rejuvenation treatment that stimulates the skin’s natural ability to repair itself by producing new collagen and elastin fibers in your skin to reveal truly transformative results.

This next-generation technology works by rolling a device embedded with tiny, sterile needles over the skin to create microchannels. While these punctures are too small to damage the tissue, they are enough to stimulate the body’s natural healing response. As a result, the production of collagen increases, resulting in younger-looking skin.

Prior to your skin needling treatment, we will conduct an initial consultation to discuss your skin and suitability. We will then create a personalized treatment plan aimed to help you achieve your skin goals.
The treatment begins with a deep facial cleanse, followed by the application of a hyaluronic peel to help remove any dead skin cells and prep the skin for the needling. The skin needling treatment takes approximately 45 minutes to one hour.
After the treatment has finished, a facial mask infused with the meso cocktail used during the treatment is applied. This provides a cooling effect and assists with soothing the skin.

Some people may experience slight discomfort during skin needling, but it is generally not considered a painful procedure. A numbing cream may be applied to the skin prior to treatment but this may reduce the benefits and overall outcome of the skin needling treatment. It is important you discuss this with your therapist prior to your appointment so this can be arranged if needed.

Typically, you will see results after the first treatment (1-2 weeks after), Lasting and more significant results will become visible after 3-6 treatments. The condition of your skin will continue to improve over the next 6-12 months after a course of treatments, especially when combined with a good home skin care regime.

Treatments can be performed anywhere between 2-6 weeks apart depending on your skin concern and the type of treatment you are receiving.
